Plus Size Customers – Be Comfortable With Who You Are! – Lynn Higgins

Throughout my career, I have gained a lot of knowledge and experience understanding the Plus size customer. My most important take away is that she wants to have stylish choices just like everyone else.  At Tafford, we understand plus size customers, that’s why we ensure that ALL of our scrub tops, pants and jackets are available up to size 4X.  Our customers love our assortment of sizes, and they’ve asked for more – and I’m glad to announce that we are further expanding our plus size selection. You may have noticed that Tafford has begun offering many of our popular holiday prints up to size 5X. We also have several solid Essentials scrubs that are offered up to size 6X. We are constantly adding new items in plus and extended sizes, so check back in the frequently to find many more fashionable print tops up to size 5X!

Trend Report – Lynn Higgins

As we start to get a little taste of the cooler weather, I am getting more and more excited about wearing some of the new pieces I have picked up for my winter wardrobe.  For those of you who have not had the time to catch up on the latest trends, there is a big push toward purples, plums and wines this season.  It’s a fresh look that is both updated and feminine.  Tafford has captured this feeling with a variety of new prints that can help you update for the season. My favorite is Coming Up Roses.  It is a very updated floral with a multitude of pink, purple, gray and tan colors that just POP off of the black ground.

If prints aren’t your thing, take a look at the new solid square neck scrub top with geometric design embroidery.  This 2 toned scrub top gives you great versatility.  If you want to stay with the purple trend, the Passion Flower and Purple combination is perfect.

What Shape Are You? – Lynn Higgins

I don’t have to tell you that there are just some items a woman dreads shopping for.  One being a bathing suit and the other one is a pair of pants!  Whether shopping for jeans or dress pants, the whole experience is just a big pain.  Of course when I do finally find just the right pair, I end up buying them in every color available.  At Tafford, we work hard to accommodate the needs of women of all different sizes and shapes and we try to make the shopping experience easy. Whether you need petite or tall, xxs or 6x, you’ll be certain to find the pant for you at Tafford.   Being the classic “pear”, I wanted to be sure that women of my shape had a pant option that will work for them.  Our elastic waist flare leg pant (available in 20 colors) is my favorite.  The extra room across the hips gives me the comfort and agility that I like.  The flare leg helps to “balance” me out and not look so hippy. 

For those of you who are younger in attitude, I recommend our flare leg styles.  They all sit a little lower on the waist and you have your choice of drawstring or flat front/elastic back .  For those that prefer a more classic style, our basic elastic waist pant and unisex drawstring pant certainly fit the bill.  We also know that many medical professionals need more utilitarian pants, so we have put together a great assortment of cargo pants.  The most popular is the unisex elastic waist cargo.  This pant offers a slimmer fit in the hips and a straight leg.  We have 4 other styles of cargo pants with a drawstring, cuff bottom, extra side pockets, and hidden zippers.  Our assortment of pants extends far beyond what I have described here – we have 19 styles of pants to meet every body style and colors to meet your tastes or uniform requirement.  Take a look for yourself and experience the Tafford difference.  If you have any questions about selecting the perfect Tafford pant, post them here and I’ll let you know what I think.
