#TaffordStyle: Pink Scrubs for Breast Cancer Awareness
1 in 8 women will be diagnosed with breast cancer… 1 in 8.
But there are also more than 2.8 million breast cancer survivors in the United States including both those still going through treatment and those who have completed treatment, according to the American Cancer Society. And death rates have been on the decline since about 1989. There are lots of reasons for these decreases, and one of those is simply increased awareness.
That is why October is National Breast Cancer Awareness month. In honor of all the warriors great and small, we have put together a board exploding with pink, hope and encouragement! Whether you are a warrior or you love one, whether you have won your battle or continue to fight, and for those who fought valiantly but ultimately lost their battle, we at Tafford solute you and challenge everyone to wear your pink ribbons proudly, raise that incredibly important awareness and donate to organizations working to win the battle once, and for all!
For more information about Breast Cancer, including facts and statistics, signs and symptoms, support and ways to get involved, see the websites for The American Cancer Society, the National Breast Cancer Foundation, and the Susan G. Komen Foundation.
We’ve put together an incredible multi-company board, including products from Dickies, HeartSoul, Cherokee, Littmann, Nurse Mates, Koi, White Cross, and Prestige Medical, but there are even more awesome awareness raising products! You can see them all right here!
